Sethlans smoked oak
Sethlans is the Etruscan god of fire, metallurgy, artisans and blacksmiths. This knife is designed for work: bushcraft, hunting, camping, Sethlans is my idea of multirole blade. This version: O1 high carbon steel aged with iron chloride, and smoked oak handle. Overall Length 9.8 inch (blade Length 5.1 inch), blade thickness 0.15 inch. Handle Thickness 0.8 inch at the widest point. It comes with a leather sheat.
Kephart
The knife designed by Horace Kephart (1862-1931), an American travel writer and expert of outdoor, camping and brushcraft. My version: AISI 1070 high carbon steel aged with iron chloride and black walnut handle aged with black tea and a solution of iron melted in vinegar. Overall Length 9.6 inch (blade Length 5 inch), blade thickness 0.118 inch. Handle Thickness 0.9 inch at the widest point. It comes with a classic leather bushcraft sheat.
Canadian knife
The knife born from the collaboration between Rudolph Grohmann and DH Russell in Toronto, Canada. My version: AISI 1070 high carbon steel
aged with iron chloride and smoked oak handle. Overall Length 10.5 inch (blade Length 6 inch), blade thickness 0.151 inch. Handle Thickness 1,1 inch at the widest point. It comes with a classic leather bushcraft sheat.
Turan
Turan is the Etruscan name for Aphrodite, goddess of beauty, love and passion. Turan is a small, light and elegant knife, ideal to carry with you every day or to pair with larger blades as backup knife. This version: AISI 440C stainless steel and bocote wood. Overall length 9.6 inch (blade Length 4 inch), blade thickness 0.118 inch. Handle thickness 0.6 inch at the widest point. It comes with leather sheat.
Kephart 2
Another version of the knife designed by Horace Kephart. AISI 1070 high carbon steel aged with iron chloride and black walnut handle aged with black tea and a solution of iron melted in vinegar. Taitle Ram
Taitle is the Etruscan name for Daedalus, builder of Minotaur’s labirinth and father of Icarus. This blade is designed for hunters (expecially for skinning) and it comes with a wonderful (thanks, Mother Nature!) handle. Tages
According to legend, Tages was the name of a mysterious white-haired boy who was born from a clod of earth and, before mysteriously disappearing as it had appeared, he taught the Etruscans the art of divination. This is a knife designed for bushcraft. I thought Tages as the ideal first knife for a kid. Veltha
Veltha (the supreme god of Etruscans) is a knife that I created for intensive use in the field. Its 5 mm thick makes it suitable for the most demanding works. AISI 1095 high carbon steel aged with iron chloride and black canvas micarta handle. Overall length 11 inch (blade Length 6′ 1/2), blade thickness 3/16 inch. Frontac 1
Frontac is the Etruscan word for lightning bolt. Classic design for hunting and camp knife. Black Taitle
Another version of Taitle, my skinner knife. AISI 1070 high carbon steel aged with iron chloride and black walnut handle aged with black tea and a solution of iron melted in vinegar. length 8.2 inch (blade Length 4 inch), blade thickness 0.2 inch. Veive
Veive was the Etruscan god of vengeance. A knife designed for hunting and outdoor. AISI 1070 high carbon steel and olive wood. Overall length 10.5 inch (blade Length 6 inch), blade thickness 0.136 inch. Handle thickness 1 inch at the widest point. It comes with classic leather bushcraft sheat.
Nessmuk
Nessmuk was the knife (and the pen name) used by George Washington Sears (1821 – 1890), an American sportswriter, father of ultralight camping and early conservationist. Nessmuk was the name of a Native American he knew as a child. My version: AISI 1070 high carbon steel aged with iron chloride and rengas tiger wood handle aged with black tea and a solution of iron dissolved in vinegar. Overall length 10 inch (blade Length 5 1/2” inch), blade thickness 0.151 inch. Handle thickness 0.9 inch at the widest point. It comes with a classic bushcraft leather sheat.
Sethlans bog oak
The peculiarity of this version of the Sethlans knife is the boh oak handle. From Wikipedia: “Bog-wood, also known as abonos and morta, especially amongst pipe smokers, is a material from trees that have been buried in peat bogs and preserved from decay by the acidic and anaerobic bog conditions, sometimes for hundreds or even thousands of years. Bog-wood represents the early stages in the fossilisation of wood, with further stages ultimately forming jet, lignite and coal over a period of many millions of years”. O1 tool steel aged with iron chloride. It comes with leather sheat.
Hudson Bay knife
A blade sold by the Hudson Bay Company in the mid-19th century and used by North American trappers, fur traders and mountain men for camp duties and processing of large game. An axe and a butcher blade in the same knife. My interpretation: O1 tool steel aged with iron chloride and black walnut handle aged with black tea and a solution of iron melted in vinegar. Brass pins and laynard hole. Overall length 12 inch (blade Length 7 1/2 inch), blade thickness 3/16 inch. Handle thickness 1 inch at the widest point. It comes with a classic bushcraft leather sheat.
